Clients put food on my table (unless they are friends and family looking for the hookup on jobs I would normally charge twice of what they are expecting to pay), and I am appreciative of the money they pay me. Clients, well versed in the ‘internets [sic] sciences’ are sweethearts, angels, and a rarity. However, I get clients that make me wonder if the pay is worth the hell they put me through. I have had clients photoshop via emails, squabble over using “and” or “&”, fail to understand that the majority of computer users do not have the same high resolution widescreen monitors that make my comps look “very tiny”, believe that HEX values can be easily translated from Microsoft Outlook’s version of the text color “PINK, and make drastic changes to the creative at the last moment before the design is sent to development and launched.
